We are very pleased to announce that Sir Nicholas Patten has joined Maitland Chambers as an Arbitrator, following his recent retirement from the Court of Appeal.

Sir Nicholas has served as a full-time Lord Justice of Appeal for the last 11 years, having previously been appointed as a High Court Judge in The Chancery Division in 2000. He took silk in 1988 (having been called to the Bar in 1974) and before being appointed to the Bench, he was a member of what is now Maitland Chambers working on some of the biggest cases of that time. We are delighted to welcome him back.
