Michael Gibbon QC, Francesca Perselli and Maxim Cardew will all be speaking at the Chancery Bar Association’s Gibraltar Conference which is being held on 14 October 2021.
Francesca will be discussing ‘When does time start to run in “midnight deadline” cases against trustees in respect of trust property? Can a limitation deadline occur partway through a day?’ in the Matthew v Sedman [2021] UKSC 19 case, Maxim will be looking at ‘Fiduciary duty vs social conscience? A changing climate for trustees and investments’ alongside Edward Cumming QC of XXIV Old Buildings and Michael Gibbon QC will be concluding the conference as Chair of the International Sub Committee.
