Congratulations to Alan Johns QC (a former member of Maitland Chambers) on his appointment to be a Specialist Civil Circuit Judge (Chancery)

The Queen has appointed Alan Grant Johns QC to be a Specialist Civil Circuit Judge (Chancery) on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable David Gauke MP and the Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, the Right Honourable The Lord Burnett of Maldon.

The Lord Chief Justice has deployed him to the South Eastern circuit, based at the Central London County Court with effect from 17 December 2018.
