Caley Wright, led by Thomas Grant KC of Wilberforce Chambers and instructed by Mark Hastings, Abigail Healey and James Clark of Quillon Law LLP, acted for the successful respondent on the appeal in the latest decision in the long running dispute between Navigator and Mr Deripaska. 

The Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the court at first instance that the claimants had failed to make out their case that certain shares, which were the subject of an undertaking given to the court on the discharge of a WFO, had been “cancelled” or that Mr Deripaska’s actions were “determinative” so as to render him in contempt of court.
