Nigel’s practice covers all aspects of property (conveyancing, commercial and residential property, land law, restrictive covenants and mortgages), contentious trust and probate work, partnership disputes, general Chancery litigation and non-contentious Chancery work (including advising and the drafting of commercial documents, wills and settlements).

He has a particular interest in landed estates, agriculture and rural affairs.  His advice is regularly sought by a broad range of landowning and farming clients as well as local authorities on whose behalf he has held public inquiries to consider applications to register town and village greens.  He also advises local councils on public rights of way.

Recently he has appeared in a number of important cases concerning the water industry for Dwr Cymru/Welsh Water.

Since 2008 he has been authorised to sit as a specialist Recorder hearing Chancery cases.
